Garonit Pharmaceutical Announces Acquisition of Former Siemens Healthineers Facility in Flanders, NJ to Expand U.S. Manufacturing
The 320,000+ square foot facility on approximately 32 acres will serve as a major hub for Garonit's expanding U.S. operations — supporting finished dosage manufacturing and alternate API production capacity.
Garonit Pharmaceutical, Inc., a U.S.-based manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and finished dosage products, is pleased to announce the acquisition of the former Siemens Healthineers manufacturing facility in Flanders, New Jersey.
The 320,000+ square foot facility, situated on approximately 32 acres, will serve as a major hub for Garonit's expanding U.S. operations, supporting future finished dosage manufacturing and providing alternate API production capacity to strengthen supply chain resilience.
As part of its long-term growth strategy, Garonit plans to invest over $200 million into the site over the next five years, with plans to create up to 1,000 jobs across manufacturing, quality, engineering, and administrative functions.
Garonit extends its sincere appreciation to Mayor Joe Nicastro, Business Administrator Andrew Tatarenko, and the Mount Olive Township leadership team for their support and partnership throughout this process.
"This acquisition represents a major step forward in our mission to build a robust U.S.-based pharmaceutical manufacturing platform," said Nitin Garg and Rohit Garg, shareholders of Garonit Pharmaceutical. "This investment expands our operational footprint while reinforcing our commitment to domestic manufacturing, supply chain reliability, and long-term growth."
The Flanders facility further strengthens Garonit's vertically integrated model, enabling end-to-end capabilities from intermediates to APIs through finished dosage products, with a strategic focus on infection prevention solutions including CHG-based formulations and pharmaceutical antiseptics.
